We are pleased to announce the release under the Toronto Agreement of a high quality assembly of the genome of finger millet, Eleusine coracana, on Phytozome. The sequence data were produced under NSF-BREAD award IOS-1543901 in collaboration with JGI.

On January 25th 2020, Hallie Wright took home the title in the Miss Collegiate Indy Scholarship competition with her platform 'Become an Ag-Vocate: Enhancing Agricultural Literacy'.
Alex Johnson and John Spiekerman were awarded the degree of 'Doctor of Philosophy' during the Spring 2019 Graduate Commencement Ceremony. Alex' dissertation was entitled 'The role of microRNAs in regulating arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis in Panicum virgatum.
