Image: On January 25th 2020, Hallie Wright took home the title in the Miss Collegiate Indy Scholarship competition with her platform 'Become an Ag-Vocate: Enhancing Agricultural Literacy'. Miss Collegiate Indy is a local Miss America competition and qualifies Hallie to compete at the Miss Indiana scholarship competition this summer. The Miss America Organization is one of the nation’s largest providers of scholarship assistance to young women and empowers them by building their professional and communication skills. During the competition, Hallie showcased her science talents by demonstrating important principles to consider when conducting DNA research. She will spend the next year promoting her social impact initiative, 'Become an Ag-Vocate: Enhancing Agricultural Literacy,' by speaking to schools and organizations about misconceptions regarding agriculture.
