Image: Thomas Gottilla placed first in the Oral Presentation Session B at the UGA CAES Undergraduate Research Symposium, which was held on April 3rd 2019. A few days later, he won first place in the MANRRS National Graduate Oral Research Competition, Division I. And to show that he can explain science to a specialized audience as well as a lay audience, he participated in and took second place in the MANRRS National Elevator Pitch Competition.
